About the Workshop

Here's a TV Script Consult works: you send me your script, I read it, and we meet for two hours on Zoom to discuss and come up with next steps for you. I read looking at all of it: plot, character, theme, tone, genre, structure, etc, whatever the script needs, while also keeping your specific questions and goals in mind. The more I know going in, the more targeted our two hours can be, instead of spending session time figuring out what you actually need. Please send your script at least a week before our meeting, along with as much of the following as you can. If you don't know yet, that's totally fine. It's not a test! You can't do it wrong. *Project title *Format *Logline Genre *Tone comps (movies or shows that capture the feeling you're going for) *What you're specifically interested in getting my feedback on *What your goals are for the project *Where you are in the writing process *What you love about your project *Whatever else you want me to know We spend two hours going through what's getting in the way and, most importantly, what's working, so you leave knowing exactly what to do next.
