Keep Writing: A Real-Life Accountability Workshop

Build momentum. Stay connected. Adjust as you go.

Keep Writing is a five-month accountability workshop for writers who want to stay connected to their work—from back-to-school season through the holidays and into the new year—with support that’s honest, flexible, and real.

Whether you’re drafting something new, revising, rebuilding a writing habit, or just trying not to abandon your creativity (and yourself), this workshop will help you keep going.

This is not about becoming the fantasy-perfect version of yourself.  You know the one: wakes up early, is kind and supportive to everyone in their life, has a color-coded calendar and a bullet journal that they totally use and stick to, no self doubt, no fraud syndrome, super hydrated, and definitely got their 10K steps in! That’s not real. And if it is, it’s not always sustainable. At least not for me. So maybe not for you, either?

Keep Writing isn’t about becoming perfect.  It’s about recognizing who you are right now and what kind of writing plan fits your real life, and a small group of writers who get it.

You don’t need to do everything.
You don’t need to be someone else.
You just need to keep writing.

Let’s do that—together.

    • PROCESS

We will meet 4 times on Zoom as well as every other week on Slack. *please see "SCHEDULE" section for dates.

In the first session, I’ll guide everyone—returning writers and first-timers—through setting a goal and building a strategy that fits where you are right now. Not where you think you “should” be. Not where you were two years ago. Right now.

How much time do you actually have? What kind of capacity do you have this season, in this life? That’s where we start.

We meet once a month on Zoom (max 8 writers). Each 2-hour session includes time to:

      • Check in — what’s working, what’s not
      • Revisit and adjust your goals — based on actual life, not fantasy schedules
      • Reflect — what’s keeping you connected? what’s getting in the way?
      • Plan next steps — with clarity, flexibility, and honesty
      • Support each other — because writing is hard, and you don’t have to do it alone

Between Zooms, we keep the thread alive inside a private Slack group—because momentum doesn’t just happen once a month.

Every other Saturday, I’ll check in with the group with:

      • A short writing prompt or reflection tool
      • Process questions to help you figure out what’s working
      • Encouragement that doesn’t feel like a TED Talk
      • Honest reminders that your writing life matters—even when it’s messy

You’ll be part of a small, supportive group of writers who can check in with each other anytime.  Once a week? Mid-meltdown? Just to say “I wrote 20 minutes and didn’t die”? Great.

This is a space for real-time connection—not pressure.
      Support, not surveillance.

    • FAQ

SOME THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING ABOUT

Do I need a finished project?
Nope. Come in with a goal, a spark, or even just a whisper of something you want to commit to. We’ll work from there.

What if I miss a session?
Life happens. Zooms aren’t recorded (to keep the space safe and honest), but you’ll stay connected via Slack, and I’ll help you get caught up.

How much time does this take?
2 hours a month for Zoom. A few minutes every other week on Slack. Plus whatever writing time you’ve got—or want to make space for.

      Is this just for screenwriters?
Nope. All writers welcome. If you’re writing, you belong here.

      Can I take it again?
Absolutely. Many writers do. Because support is a practice too.

    • COST/PAYMENT PLAN

Payment plans available—because writers have real budgets. Two or three monthly payments. Just ask.
